Maverick

Backbenchers,
Outliers,
Outcasts,
Resilient,
Neutral,
Reveling in struggle and strife,
Comfortable in the shadows but fine to bask in the Sun
Silent observers shunning gross arguments,
Preferring solo journeys but fine with groups,
Refraining involvement where possible,
Encouraging, mentoring and motivating in when needed,
Patiently watching,
Developing subtle awareness,
Building self confidence,
On end-to-end journeys,
Existing calmly away from the crowd,
Celebrating life quietly.

Freedom and bliss

No intellectual pursuit.
No elusive goals,
No competition,
No urge for control,
No preferences,
No resistance,
No compromises,
No heartbreaks,
No desires,
No debt,
No dependency,
No expectations,
No conditioning,
No biases,
No need to malign the self for the sake of a few moments of fleeting happiness.

Where intellectual pursuit ends,
Where physical and emotional intimacy no longer holds sway,
Where a deeper connection with the self is what matters,
Where one voluntarily unsubscribes from the prevailing narrative,
A stateless state where one is truly happy,
Long and deep joyful breaths,
Living each moment and celebrating the true nature of being,
Realizing the true nature of bliss,
Reveling in the moment in one's own divinity,
No questions,
No seeking,
Potent silence,
Plain vanilla being, breathing, observing, knowing,
Relaxed self awareness and experience.
Freedom and bliss.

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep
