Stranger with flowers on a crowded train...

On a train door slides, and he steps insideA bouquet of blooms held close to his sideEyes like a secret, a story untoldA mystery that in petals of gold
A stranger with flowers on a crowded trainHe smiled and leaned back. He knew my name.
In the hum of the rails, our worlds collideA fleeting moment where dreams reside
Through the windowThe city blurred and ranTracks stretched far like the life of a manThe scent of the lilies hung thick in the airA hint of something, was it love or despair.

A stranger with flowers on a crowded trainHe smiled and leaned backHe knew my name.
In the hum of the rails, our worlds collideA fleeting moment where dreams reside
Did he step from the past or a life not yetThe weight of his gaze-I can't forget.

Words unspokenLike seeds unsownA stranger with flowersAnd now he's gone
A stranger with flowers on a crowded trainHe smiled and leaned backHe knew my nameIn the hum of the rails, our worlds collideA fleeting moment where dreams reside.

The train moves onThe bouquet fadesPetals fall like the passing daysWas he real or a dream's disguise?A stranger with flowers and golden eyes.

Have you touched a moment lately

Profound and palpable silence,
Mere vibrant presence,
Aloof attention of the breath.

What might appear mundane to some,
Makes away for a unique experience,
Gently aware of self and non-self,
Unhurried, unforced, unplanned,
Careful enough to not get carried away,
Savoring the moment and what it has to offer,
Affording a glimpse of the self if one looks in the right direction,
Precious, fulfilling, incomparable.

Each blissful moment leading to another,
Self aware yet watchful of the play,
Subtle balancing when required,
Incremental journey to the self.
